Starting from the end of 2006, Tamptation has transformed from a brand focusing on handmade goods to a graphic design brand. Tamptation is now aiming at textile and paper designs. What makes Tamptation Designs special is most of the illustrations and patterns are hand drawn, compare to most of the computerized designs in the market, Tamptation's designs are designs with souls.
About Designer My name is Suki Tam and I was born in Hong Kong. I just moved to Australia, Sydney for 6 years. I have done lots of art works when I was in Hong Kong and I am currently teaching Chinese painting in Australia. I studied painting, drawing, Chinese painting and calligraphy in Hong Kong and delights in introducing this special Chinese Art to Australians. My works have been awarded in many National Chinese painting competitions and published in book form. I used "tam" instead of "tem" because TAM is my surname. I started making this website when I was in a low point of my life. It helps me to define myself again and this is something I can hold on to. This website is my life project. It's my soul. It's my dream. I am always passion with arts and design and it's my dream to design my own products. Most of my inspiration come from the culture shock between my country and Australia. Sometimes comes from my students, sometimes from the beautiful and brilliant designs in Australia. I love Australia but I will never forget where I belongs to. I want you to love your purchases just as much as I love making them.
